Best $8 Bloody Mary I ever had! Kingsley burger is a blend of beef and lamb with an over easy egg on top. Best burger in town! Salmon burger equally delicious. Most entrees just under $20. A little pricey and slowish when busy, but well worth the wait! Overall very pleasant experience.
Arrived 30 minutes before closing. A party of 2. Was received by a rude gentleman who let us know that none of the available tables were available to us and we would have to sit at the bar. I asked him why and he responded by saying we couldn't be seated in case he needed them for another party. Seriously! Why would you discriminate in this way. Did we look like we weren't the right clientele? Who was going to need three tables so close to closing? We are frequent diners at Giffords and thought we would try something different. Bad decision.
The owners mother was a delight. I traveled 3 hours from Princeton NJ to visit Kent a quaint town and see the foilage and falls.. I did not know I would have an opportunity to meet such wonderful people and enjoy delicious food. Georgina kept me occupied with history and fun facts. Anna was completely down to earth and lovely. I enjoyed quite a variety of Anna's delicious cooking. I travel the world and these scallops are in my top 3!! Wil the bartender and other staff were attentive and friendly. Will be back for sure!! Fresh food, cooked with talent, beautiful atmosphere inside - outside- or at the bar!
They ask you to take the entrance on the side ramp so the hostess will greet you....but no hostess and the staff around the bar seems unexperienced and inept to welcome you. The bartender was nice. I just had a glass of malbec. Good for price.
Great food and a superb location. Staff was great, was a lovely time. Prices are reasonable for very good food, they dont gouge on alcohol like other places so there's room on the check for another app!
